When we lose our hearts or betray it and ourselves we betray others, we end up in the same place, lost and wandering the barren, devoid landscape of what we once thought was relevant and meaningful, feeling empty and soulless. The clicks and likes we thought was a foundation, are as fleeting as the quicksand of fame and fortune.
Then there are those that lost their hearts from the get go, when they bought into narratives that amplified empty messages that paid well and gaslit the follower as much as the leader bought the gaslight of fame and fortune.
When you deprive your Heart of love your soul bleeds. When you don’t choose your love of humanity as your starting point, your foundation is quicksand and when you reach out to engage humanity your on the path of betrayal and failure.
I remember as a young folk dancer pulling up in the bus at the next dance tournament as the girls ran out calling my name in swooning worship. It shocked me to see worship from people I hadn’t a clue off. My first thought was, this power is dangerous and makes them vulnerable.
I realized we have a responsibility to not disadvantage when you have the advantage, instead you teach humility when you are in that, position of power.
Screaming the old message that garnered worship, follows and clicks, was abused by those that lost their souls.
Keep your heart strong and message the truth as you navigate life and nurture your soul that will feed life to everyone that listens. Your foundation is key and to make a difference, love with your heart and breathe it from your soul otherwise you will sell everything that is you.
