How Did Mangione (alleged to be Brian Thompson's shooter) know to Case the Hilton on the 24th of November?

How Did Mangione (alleged to be Brian Thompson's shooter) know to Case the Hilton on the 24th of November when the UnitedHealthcare Investors Conference was not annouced until the 26th of November?

This is from the official warrant filed by ADA Joel Seidemann with the Criminal Court of the City of New York County of New York, on or about December 12, 2024:

“surveillance footage that I have reviewed from that same hostel that depicts the same man, checking in to the hostel on November 24, 2024, at about 11:20 p.m and showing a driver's license upon check-in;” -Detective Yousef Demes, Shield #01575 of the NYPD’s Midtown North Precinct Detective Squad, quoted directly form Felony (Arrest Warrant) File # CR-036031-24NY. On December 12, 2024, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny told NBC News New York the following:

“Mangione arrived in New York City's Port Authority Bus Terminal on Nov. 24 aboard a bus that originated in Atlanta. Police are not sure when or where he boarded that bus, however.”

Later in that same interview, Detective Kenny went on:

“After arriving in the city, Mangione got a taxi and ‘immediately goes to a McDonald's in the vicinity of the Hilton hotel,’ said Kenny. From there, he went to the hostel where he was staying until the day of the shooting he stands accused of. So we have the ADA signing off on an arrest warrant that has Mangione arriving on the 24th of November 2024. On the same day that the arrest warrant was filed we have the Chief of Detectives for NYPD stating that the the suspect not only arrived on the 24th of November but that the suspect also “immediately goes to a McDonald's in the vicinity of the Hilton hotel,’”. This statement seems to be implying that Mangione was casing out the Hilton in preparation for the assassination of UnitedHealthcare Insurance CEO Brian Thompson.

But there’s a problem with this…if what the Chief of Detectives said was true and if he had, in fact, been implying that Mangione was essentially doing reconnasaince of the intended murder site on the 24th of November. The problem is that UnitedHealthcare did not make an announcement about this particular investors’ conference until the 26th of November:

So either the Chief of Detectives fabricated the details about Mangione “immediately” casing the murder scene prior to the murder OR Mangione (if he actually is the shooter) somehow predicted that the conference would be held at that location and also decided to show up at 6:40-6:44am, roughly one hour and twenty minutes prior to the official start of the conference because he somehow knew that Brian Thompson would be walking by the Hilton 54th street entrace at that exact time…with no briefcase, portfolio, bag or what appears to be no intention of actually going into the Hilton.

So the question, again, is: How did Mangione know to case the Hilton (if this is what the Chief of Detectives was implying) on the 24th of November when nobody (outside of the conference organizers) knew where or when that conference would be until the 26th of November.

Let that sink in. Investigate everything.

(Disclaimer: I did not land on this alone. Actually, I have to give a lot of credit to Josh Boswell , Senior Reporter at The Daily Mail, for catching the disparity with the date United announced it’s conference and the date that the NYPD stated that Mangione arrived in New York City. I recently had this discussion with Josh Boswell and it was Josh who pointed out to me that the shooter had arrived in New York City two days before the conference was even announced. From there it hit me that the police seemed to be implying that the alleged murderer of Thompson had not only arrived, but had gone “immediately” to the Hilton area right after her checked into the HI New York Hostel. I wouldn’t have even thought of this had Josh not caught that disparity with the arrival date and the conference announcement date. So kudos to Mr. Boswell on that keen detective work! I just wanted to make sure I give credit where credit is due as he has clearly been digging into this case as much as I have. I hope our discussions continue as we both seem to be picking up on a lot of these inconsistencies. He also seems like a great guy.
